알 살라이 호텔은 아라비안 바다와 가족 공원의 환상적인 조망이 가능한 아부다비 워터프러트에 자리잡고 있다. 이 프로젝트의 키워드는 ‘알 살라이(Ai shalai)’, 아랍어로 폭포란 뜻이다. 중동의 나라들은 사막으로 둘러싸여 있기 때문에 물은 특별한 상징적 의미를 가진다. 이 40층 호텔의 외고나은 최고의 디지털 폭포를 나타내기 위해 디자인 되었다. 밤에는 정면의 색들이 변화하면서 화려한 쇼를 만들어 낸다. 알 살라이 호텔은 앞으로 아부다비 도심의 오아시스 역할을 할 것이다.
The Al Shalai Hotel is located in Abu Dhabi waterfront with a spectacular view of the Arabian Sea and Family Park. The keyword for this project was Al Shalal which means “waterfall” in arabic. Like most middle east countries surrounded by desserts, water takes on a special symbolic meaning. The facade of this forty story hotel was designed to appear as great digital waterfall. At night the facade is coded to change colors to create a spectacular show. Al Shala Hotel is sure to become the urban oasis of Abu Dhabi.
