한림대학교는 활력넘치는 육체적 건강배양에 남다른 노력을 기울이고 있다. 최근 체육활동을 매게로 지역 주민들과 교류를 시도하는 시점에서 기존체육관은 공간의 협소함과 외부이용자의 접근성이 떨어진다는 지리적 한계성을 가지고 있다.
따라서 우리는 새로운 체육관이 개방성과 접근성이라는 관점에서 탁월한 공간적 성취를 이룸과 동시에 가장 활력있는 공간을 조성하기 위하여 Active Core를 제안한다. Active Core는 체육관으로서 정체성을 내포한 역동적인 외관 디자인과 캠퍼스 조화를 고려한 오픈스페이스, 탁월한 접근성을 고려한 멀티엑세스로 조합된 하나의 코어 개념으로 계획 되었다.
Hallym University is aiming at creating social environment in relation to health through convenient interchanges between students and local residents. An old gymnasium had limited space to play sports and also there have been several difficulties for local residents regarding access and use of the gym.
We suggested creating ‘Active Core’ to give openness to space as well as easy of access to everyone. The idea of ‘Active Core’ includes dynamic exterior which both shows Hallym University’s identity and harmonizes with surrounding environment.
